All Attales 8th-graders and their parents are invited to a High School Open House 6 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13 at the Attales Gymnasium, 800 Irelan Ave.

Come to learn about the many high school options available to students in Absecon, program offerings and more.

Students in Absecon attend Pleasantville High School through a send/receive agreement, but can apply to a variety of high schools in the region that meet their needs through the School Choice program, including Ocean City, Atlantic City and Mainland Regional. 

Students an also apply to Atlantic County Institute of Technology or Chartertech High School for the Performing Arts.

All of the above options are tuition-free.

In addition, there are several tuition-based parochial schools in the region that parents may be interested in learning more about.
