After receiving the Attales Sledgehammer from Mr. Burns during the first Family Meeting of the school year in September, 8th grade student Sherlyn Carranza chose Mrs. King as the Sledgehammer’s next recipient.

Sherlyn presented the Attales Sledgehammer to Mrs. King during her STEAM class on Friday, Oct. 14.

“You have helped me through seventh and eighth grade,” she told Mrs. King. 

Mrs. King is Attales first two-time Sledgehammer Award winner.
