Family Meeting- 10/12/18

Please add any positive news of our staff/students, uplifting stories/anecdotes of our students being awesome either individually/as a group/or to each other, and any other positive news that you feel may be worthy of our Family Meeting

  • Beverly Saint Germain- taking notes for another student who was out. Was not asked to do this. Did this out of the kindness of her heart and brought the notes to the teacher at the end of class. She told the teacher that the lesson was important and she didn’t want the other student to miss out on the notes. (Mr. Biel)
  • Sierra Sketers and Elio Garcia- for volunteering their time after school to help out the cross country teams during our home meets. Their commitment and dedication is very important to the team and we greatly appreciate it. (Mr. White, Mr. Broomhead, XC athletes)
  • Jenna Ong has been picking up trash and helping to make our outdoor space a cleaner place to hang out during recess (Mrs. Sap)
  • Felix Herrera-Perera will often stay after school and help put up chairs and clean up around the classroom. (Mrs. Keeney)
  • Macy Fox has come in during lunch do help decorate my room with inspirational quotes.These are quotes that she has written down in her personal notebook. (Mrs. Camac)
  • Hakeema Ceaser has been very kind in helping students out in the morning with opening their locker. (Mr. White)
  • Mrs. Sap for developing and organizing a pickleball club for the teachers after school. It is tons of fun and lots of enjoyment for all those involved. THANK YOU!! (The teachers).
  • Josilyn Corey and Aaliyah Blackmon helped Ms. T in guidance decorate breakfast lunch bags for School Violence Awareness Week. They gave up their lunch and recess to help do this and it was very much appreciated! (Ms. T)
  • Mrs. Clarke & Mrs. Chubb for always going above and beyond!!
  • Christopher Ropiecki and Matthew Peterson for helping an elementary student on and off the bus. Both boys are really kind and go out of their way to encourage him and welcome him. (Mrs. Irwin)
  • Jelani Kelly for greeting all the 5th grade teachers every morning with a big smile. (Mrs. Sharpley)
  • Sameerah Johnson for taking notes for Dominic Custodio after he sprained his finger ( She was not asked to do this) Mrs. Chiarolanza.
  • Gabriel Guillen, Ella Benzce, Ashley Martinez, Joe Tulini, Hakeemah Caesar for always offering to help me out with the chromebooks and the trash during CAP and AJ Vasquez for always offering to empty out the dehumidifier ( Mrs. Chiarolanza).
  • Mrs. Swift for going above and beyond her calling to help students and staff with whatever they need (Mrs. Chiarolanza).
  • The entire 5th and 6th grade team for their support! (Mrs. Chiarolanza)
  • Mr. White, Mrs. Chiarolanza, Ms. Torcicollo, Mrs. Hughes, and the 8th graders for setting up the Activity Fair tables and signs! (Mrs. Keeney)
