Fifth Grade Supply List

Dear Fifth Grade Student,

Yes, that would be you! In order to have a successful fifth grade school year, and not lose precious reading skills, it is absolutely necessary that you read daily during the summer. Over the summer, review and memorize all of your multiplication facts, multiples 1-12. You will be tested on these in the first week of school, for mastery.

The summer reading list, below, will help you keep your reading skills sharp throughout the summer. You should read every day! Make sure that you are choosing a novel from the list, on or somewhat near your level, that you have never read before. There will be an in-school project related to the chosen book. Helpful websites to plan your reading and reserve books: https://atlanticlibrary.org/ (an app can be downloaded for requesting books) and Learning Ally (The app must be downloaded).
